Second OFSA Information Meeting Held

On Thursday night, at the Onna Village Center, a diverse and highly motivated group of OIST researchers, admin staff members, and students gathered to hear Masaki Matsutahara, Shinnosuke Onna, and Takako Horikawa give a presentation about the relationship between OFSA, Rengo Okinawa, and Rengo Japan. The speakers detailed the benefits of union membership for OIST employees, specifically in regard to power harassment and unjust termination.

While the formal presentation lasted about 45 minutes, the question and answer period continued for more than another hour, as OIST personnel plied the Rengo representatives with questions about specific problems at OIST and discussed solutions among themselves.
